Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe information age is still faces common problems, which require many hours, something precious in modern times, for people and companies, and which are also very expensive in the analysis of productivity as well as welfare. Traffic is now considered by many as being a difficult problem of the current global situation. Old Methods which are of great impact in the lives of people still regulate on when to stop, pay attention or move forward, ie, the critical device for us to regulate the queues and traffic jams : the traffic light. The method used since the invention this object is used in almost all countries. It determines, in minutes or seconds, and stops the progress in the main streets of cities. A simple and efficiently proven solution would be the application of artificial intelligence to these simple plates of electronic components which follow a time schedule. This artificial intelligence, applied in conjunction with a database and generating information from the RFID technology has a unique and objective function for the plan proposed by this study. The result is easily understood: eliminate time wasted on a semaphore that even if no vehicles passing in its route continues to follow the signs (green) due to its run-time programming. This makes other vehicles waiting in some other way stand still unnecessarily. By making use of AI, coupled with the effective power of RFID, we can obtain accurate and important to give perfect rules when the traffic lights should remain open or closed or when they should give priority to the route that is more congested. Thus it generates greater comfort to drivers and pedestrians, less wasted time and increased productivity and welfare. You can also take advantage of this technology to obtain useful data for delinquent vehicles, stolen vehicles, vehicle location in order to lower insurance costs and other information collected using this technology.pt_BR
