Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe productive chain of greenery stands out as one of the main production systems of agriculture under conventional tillage. Answering the demand of consumption of the population intensifies its production and is characterized as a great use of chemicals, given the seasonality of production and climatic conditions. With the increased concern of society on environmental issues and in search of healthier eating, organic production has distinguished itself as an alternative production system that enables a balance between man and the environment. The consumption of vegetables broadleaves and in particular the lettuce (Latuca sativa L.) has distinguished itself by its nutritional qualities and practicality in preparation and consumption. However the consumer does not distinguish in supermarket gondolas which hardwood dusts produced in organic and conventional cropping system, except for the presence of production certification seal to which they are subject the products of organic cultivation. From these premises, this work to evaluate the presence of pesticides in conventional and organic lettuce produced and marketed in the municipality of Francisco Beltrão - PR. Were evaluated three samples of lettuce, which were composed of organic lettuce, certified organic lettuce and conventional lettuce without certification, coupled by gas chromatography with Eletron Capture Detector. The samples were prepared in the laboratories of the Federal University of Technology - Paraná and forwarded to the Instituto Mineiro de Agropecuária chromatographic analyses conducted. Samples of certified organic lettuce, non-certified organic and conventional evaluated did not show contamination by fungicides studied, azoxystrobin, beta-cyfluthrin, iprodione and difenoconazole.pt_BR
