A incidência do estresse gerado pelas atividades dos profissionais de arquitetura

Abstract

The 21th century is marked by cultural changes, social-economic paradigms and values that implies at the readjust of the individual at the professional and living environments. In this meaning, the professional needs to work hard to archive it’s place, then the market capability in creating jobs depends of the economic expansion, and also of the institutions that adjust the work relationship functioning. The work environment can create challenges, satisfactions and socialization, as well can be a way that can lead to stressful factors. At the architecture offices these characteristics noticed, being a problem and a threat to the individuals and to the organizations where they work. Therefore the point of this research in knowing the causes of the stress, stressful factors, developing phases and the implications at the architectural job. So a bibliographical research was made about the stress, complemented with the architect’s job and formation. At the conclusive phase, a form was sent to the architects who the answers allowed identify the stress level such as anxiety, perfectionism, time distribution, disquietude and vague fears. As a complement of this research, at the theoretical eferential, stress prevention methods were mentioned, look for a better life quality.
