Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe preoccupation with thefts of vehicles is a constant among its owners. Based on searches disclosed recently, only 20% of stolen cars are recovered in the city of Curitiba. Inside this context, this project´s objective is develop a tool for monitoring the geography location of vehicles, facing the support the fleet´s control of land transport, like taxi´s firms, charges´ transport, vehicles rental, and also to watch the slolen vehicles recover among others uses that have necessity of tracking. To develop this system, it´ll be necessary examine the project´s viability, searching what are the possible methods to the correct running of the system, as communication protocols by mobile network, interfacing with the Global Positioning System (GPS), implementation of web system and even the own system of electric alimentation to be applied. The system´s hardware will be installed united to the vehicle in a discrete place, with hard access. That will transfer the global position´s informations by mobile network to a remote server. Thus, it will be possible to the system user, to find the vehicle installed in the hardware relevant to the request, throught a web service, which is planned to this project. With the fast actuation of this system, it is expected that the hardware allows the recuperation about nearly all the vehicles which have the system, in case of be subject to the thefts condition.pt_BR
