Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to prepare a book that can serve as support to teachers and students during school discipline practices of Inorganic Chemistry II, facilitating the work of assembling these classes and presenting content in a didactic and organized, and provides methodology treatment of waste generated, which in the specific case of this subject, often comprise heavy metals and other polluting potential. The work was developed in the first stage of researching and organizing tours of practical classes available in books, internet, and handouts already used by the teacher of the discipline. Subsequent to this, we selected itineraries that best suited the purpose of this study, consistent with the following criteria: ease of implementation of practical activity; possibility of running into two classes (100 minutes); availability of reagents in the laboratories of the institution; generating waste whose treatment is easier and less costly, and, last but not least, correlated with the contents of the menu and the possibility of learning. Practices, different from those that the teacher uses in his classes, were tested, properly scaled in order to lower waste generation and adapted to the reality of the laboratories of the UTFPR. A booklet was also prepared with an introduction highlighting some complex applications, safety standards and use of PPE. At the end of the work, there was a discussion of the content covered in each experimental activity.pt_BR
