Resumo: dc.description.abstractIn this work we investigate the evaluation of Chemistry School-Books (CSB) made by high school students from two public schools of Pato Branco’s city. Participating students answered the same questionnaire for the CSB, however the analysis was done based on the CSB (that was used, and the current), respectively by the schools. Thus in the College A, the students who completed the questionnaire 1 did the CSB’s analysis used during the last three years (2009-2011), and those who answered questionnaire 2 the analysis was with the new CSB (2012-2014). Already in College B, the previous CSB’s analysis corresponding to questionnaire 3, and as the new CSB is questionnaire 4. After the questionnaires were answered and with the analysis, it could verified the positives and negatives points, in view of the student, for each CSB evaluated. Thus we can conclude that the CSB should not be the only source of knowledge to the student, as it presents some weaknesses (indicated by the students), which can interfere in the student’s learning. Another relevant fact is that the CSB has total influence in building the student's knowledge, so students who used different CSB has different difficulties too, although is the same CSB currently used.pt_BR
