Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis work deals with the use of a machining process to manufacture low power Pelton turbines. The process used is known as Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and enables the fabrication of large-scale pieces, increasing productivity, facilitating the accomplishment of tasks, minimizing the potential for error during production, allowing an analysis of parts without having to perform prototyping, ensuring standardization of processes and reducing machining time. The approach to the subject was segmented in a research of the Brazilian energy market, prioritizing what is most abundant that is the hydroenergy matrix, also in search of a machining process more efficient for a more "intelligent" in the manufacture of Pelton turbines. The development of the theme is mainly motivated by the existence of potential untapped energy in the large hydroelectrical inventories of hydroelectric basins in Brazil. At the end of this project, It is expected that this motivate students to further their researches in order to solve manufacturing processes in the Brazilian market opportunities.
