Resumo: dc.description.abstractCurrently, demand is distinct from traditional pedagogy. Something that makes the teacher a mediator in a subject group of students using a method that achieves the ultimate goal of a classroom: learning from them. The process of teaching and learning requires more than the teacher transfer the contents so that students feel attracted to the subject. Thus, the resource materials are the role of mediators, both for teachers who can teach in a dynamic way, and for students interested in the content, developing their learning significantly. The use of alternative methodologies does not replace traditional teaching, but to fill the gaps that the traditional method ends up leaving. It is a renewal in the way of teaching, combining theory and practice, making these alternative activities the student closer to reality. The objective of this study was to develop an educational resource, through use and reuse of parts and the structure of a spectrophotometer monofeixe damaged, as well as the evaluation of this as a teaching tool in the discipline of Instrumental Analysis. The main results indicated that there was a better understanding of the functioning of the device by the students, since evaluating the activities, presented the highest percentage of correct answers was the one who disposed of the teaching resource as a basis for explanation.pt_BR
