Diagnóstico ambiental da bacia hidrográfica do Rio Pato Branco

Abstract

This work consists of making an environmental analysis of river basin Pato Branco, which is used as a supply source of the city of Pato Branco. To use a basin properly, you should consider it as a planning unit. They must observe the conditions of the basin itself, aimed at protecting the environment quantitatively and qualitatively, always thinking of the water resource itself. Characterized by the search for morphological data in the region of influence of the spring, as is the use and occupation of land and water quality found in the watershed, has been the analysis of the legislation of the range of riparian vegetation found in the basin, checking if this is appropriate or not, the identification of urban and rural areas, and the overall analysis of the storage conditions of the basin. It was used in this work of topographic maps of the region covered by the basin, as well as water quality data made available by SANEPAR. The basin is elongated features, with watercourses classified according to Strahler order 3. But it has a low drainage density, which may favor the emergence of small floods. The use and occupation presents no major problems with the tracks of conservation law along the water courses and areas of legal reserves within the boundaries of the forest code. Displays only small isolated points where there is a lack of range of legal reserve. And water quality is suitable for the supply for human consumption, is classified as Class II according to CONAMA resolutions. It was then that the basin is preserved and there are no serious environmental problems in your area.
