Descrição: dc.descriptionTransitional cell carcinoma (TCC) is the most common urinary bladder neoplasm in dogs, comprising about 80 to 90% of epithelial bladder tumors. The region most commonly affected by this neoplasm is the trigone of the bladder, which is why surgical treatment is often not possible for complete resection of the tumor. The objective of this study is to describe the technique of left unilateral ureteroneocystostomy performed in a dog diagnosed with TCC in the bladder trigone, highlighting it as a therapeutic option for this condition. For diagnosis, abdominal ultrasound and urinary cytology were performed, and it was possible to identify the presence of an amorphous mass in the bladder trigone and presence of cells with malignant characteristics compatible with TCC, respectively. For the treatment, it was decided to perform unilateral ureteroneocystostomy that proved to be efficient, since it restored the ureter function, allowing the complete excision of the neoplasia, as demonstrated in excretory urography. It is concluded that the unilateral ureteroneocystostomy technique was efficient for the treatment of a female dog with TCC in the region of bladder trigone.-
