Welcoming and integrating students in higher education institutions, learners should be able to: • Identify institutional policies, strategies, structures and practices that facilitate integration of students with diverse profiles, contexts and backgrounds. • Evaluate methodologies for advising prospective students effectively. • Understand the contribution of institutional communication strategies for supporting prospective students in making informed decisions. • Characterise appropriate methodologies for training higher education students to use institutional learning environments proficiently. • Describe how peer mentoring can be used for supporting the integration of students with differentiated educational needs.-
