Resumo: dc.description.abstractSisters in Jane Austen's novels experience heartbreak, loss, financial insecurity, gender inequality, and family pressures. Austen shows us how cultivating strong female relationships through sisters' bonds, friendships, and communities fosters resilience and a sense of belonging. Austen advocates for women to reach their potential and navigate complex societal pressures; however, not all the female characters in Austen's stories support women. Yet, Austen reveals the injustice of treatment toward females and the importance of building genuine and supportive relationships to achieve growth and independence. Austen's portrayal of women's relationships, with their strengths and flaws, remains relevant today. The continuing need for female connection is essential for overcoming societal expectations and achieving individual potential. As relationships evolve, recognizing the impact of women's solidarity is crucial, especially in a society where women still face isolation due to social and economic pressures. Austen's relationship stories inspire women to support their relationships and overcome challenges, emphasizing the importance of solidarity, mutual support, and the ability to grow and acknowledge their potential.pt_BR
