Resumo: dc.description.abstractCongenital diaphragmatic hernia is a malformation that results in the herniation of abdominal organs into the thoracic cavity during fetal development. Surgical treatment plays a crucial role in correcting this condition, but the evaluation of the surgical techniques used is essential to improve clinical outcomes and patient survival. This article aims to carry out an integrative review of the existing scientific literature on the evaluation of surgical techniques for the correction of congenital diaphragmatic hernia, addressing diagnostic aspects, surgical treatment options and clinical outcomes. the search terms "congenital diaphragmatic hernia", "surgical techniques", "surgical treatment", "assessment" and "integrative review". Studies that evaluated different surgical techniques for correcting congenital diaphragmatic hernia in patients of all age groups were included. The literature review identified several studies that addressed different surgical approaches for correction of congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Among the evaluated techniques, the laparoscopic approach, thoracoscopy and open approaches stand out. Each of these techniques has specific advantages and disadvantages in terms of reducing the hernia content, closing the diaphragmatic defect, and stabilizing the respiratory function. In addition, studies have demonstrated the importance of a multidisciplinary and individualized approach in the surgical management of these patients. The evaluation of surgical techniques for correction of congenital diaphragmatic hernia is essential to improve clinical results and patient survival. The evidence available in the scientific literature highlights the importance of effective surgical strategies, considering the patient's age, the severity of the disease and the experience of the surgical team. Additional studies are needed to more comprehensively compare different surgical techniques and their long-term outcomes.pt_BR
