Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis research aims to analyze the work of British artist Richard Hamilton, which involves understanding the influence of the Dada movement on it, understanding it as a precursor of North American Pop Art, equally affected by Dadaism, in your case due to Marcel Duchamp's effect in that context. The investigation starts from the Dada artistic movement of the 20th century as the beginning of an artistic revolution, previously initiated in Cubism, which challenged the models of traditional artistic production. Historical-artistic analysis is essential to contextualize Hamilton's production and point out the influences it had.pt_BR
