Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe systematic review will search sources including PubMed, SciELO, Bireme, BDENF,Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and BVS. The search will be restricted to publicationsfrom the last five years and will include studies published in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. The studies included will focus on the cultural perspectives of Afro-descendants regarding theprevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), specifically within the context of theQuilombola community in the Amazon region, particularly Santarém, Pará Study design The systematic review will assess the effectiveness of culturally tailored interventions for STIprevention among Afro-descendant populations, particularly Quilombola communities in theAmazon. It includes randomized controlled trials (RCTs), quasi-experimental studies, observational studies (cohort, case-control, cross-sectional), and qualitative or mixed-methodsstudies that explore cultural perspectives and practices related to STI prevention. Excluded arecase reports, case series, editorials, commentaries, and opinion pieces, as well as studieswithout comparative analysis or those not peer-reviewed, unless they offer significant insightsrelevant to the research. By focusing on these specific study designs, the review aims to gatherrobust and culturally relevant evidence, ensuring that the interventions analyzed are botheffective and appropriate for the unique cultural contexts of the target populations. Thisapproach guarantees a comprehensive evaluation of culturally tailored STI preventionstrategies within these communities.pt_BR
