Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis course conclusion work made use of the product design methodology proposed by Löbach, 2000, and the knowledge acquired during the course of Bachelor of Design to develop a grocery pot inspired in Toy Art, merging the artistic and utilitarian functions in the same product. In order to get a relevant result, the literature review raised renowned authors such as Baxter, Baudrillard, Heskett and Norman, who contributed significantly to the formation of concepts related to product development. Among the project's deployment steps, still in the preparation phase, stood out the study of materials and processes, similar products and competitors research, history of Art Toy and ceramic objects storage and finally, detailed analysis of the product for the concept of reasoning and design requirements. The requirements, finally, were defined in the following points: refer to the Toy Art aesthetic, merge the utility function and visual attractiveness, be durable, store food properly, add unique surface design, meet three design levels (visceral, behavioral and reflective) and stand out against the competition. From the survey, the generation of alternatives was performed and the final alternative defined by an evaluation matrix combined with a survey of potential consumers, culminating in the production of the prototype. The final model went through a validation process with the users through the discussion method that evaluates critical points to obtain the final result. From this, it was also possible to set up the carton and the product’s visual identity, that complemented the concept of the project as a whole. The final considerations raised pertinent points to the pot’s production, points that will be taken in the idealization of a subsequent production and marketing on a larger scale.pt_BR
