Resumo: dc.description.abstractIt is increasingly common people's need for comfort and safety in their homes. With the high crime and increasing equipment indoors, a system that control along with safety devices becomes of great satisfaction. The best alternative currently is controlling via a web page, due to the wide availability of this in media access. This project aims to develop a system to control the use of equipment in a residence through a web interface and graphical display. The devices can be turned on and off as the user wishes. Might be also installed various types of sensors, in order that people can have control of the events that occur in the home. It is based on the integration of Stellaris LM3S6965 board with UART and Ethernet interfaces, and ARM Cortex M3. This receives data from the web page via the local network, processing, and converts it to UART. So is held RS485 level conversion and data are sent to the respective microcontroller slave part being controlled. The board MSP430G2553 processes the received characters and conducts its operations due (eg light a lamp, report the status of a sensor and trigger the alarm).The result of this project is a home automation system controlled via the web, with low cost and easy installation.pt_BR
