Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis work has as its title "Diagnoses and proposals for accessibility in building environments on UTFPR-Campus Pato Branco. The overall objective is to assess the conditions of accessibility to people with special needs in internal and external spaces of the blocks, White Duck UTFPR Campus and propose improvements to existing physical barriers. Accessibility has as main objective to integrate or include all citizens in society, regardless of their physical characteristics. Being its integration provided for in laws, it is necessary to search for ways to achieve these goals. In Brazil, already are present rules that prioritize assistance to citizens who have special needs, such as NBR 9050/04. The work was accomplished through bibliographical research and case study.Toachieve the goal, used analysis through recommendations of NBR 9050/04 and tools such as the checklist, to obtain numerical results. As if sought evidence that interfere with the accessibility, these historical and topography. The topography proves to be a natural barrier, for example, the sidewalk entrance to the main campus has an average slope of 14.1% while the NBR 9050 (Association...2004) recommends inclination of 8.33% ramps. To obtain numerical results using the checklist, this has proven to be efficient for data gathering and analysis. Mainly serving as a tool of orientation in the field, in the steps to be followed. By examining the checklist had been evidenced two problems: the first is the amount of items that do not apply in blocks, being very large variation of accessibility aspects of the environments. Another problem is the observer's interference, can have different answers for different evaluators, not to mention the amount of details that may have been omitted. Of the six hundred and thirty-six answers given in the checklist, 75% are positive or answered with ' yes ', which means that the block is agreed according to that item, 21% negative or answered with ' no ', which means that the block does not show conformity in accordance with that item, just 4% of the answers were given as partially accordingly. However, during the development of this work it was noticed that the institution is concerned with improving the conditions of accessibility on Campus.pt_BR
